HEZEKIAH'S SEEDS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

LORD OF HOSTS MIRACLE CHAPEL. Sunday 10th Feb 2019.
Calvary greetings beloveth.

Below is the sermon today at Lord of Hosts Miracle Chapel, plot 116, 5th avenue Gowon Estate, Egbeda.
Theme: Hezekiah’s seeds in the house of God. Text: 2nd Chronicles 29: from verse 1.

Hezekiah ascended the throne of his forefathers at the tender age of 25 years. As soon as he ascended the throne, he swung into action on the very first day of the first month. He opened the doors of the house of God and repaired them. The doors had not been opened for a long time. He also called in the priests and Levites to sanctify the temple which his predecessors had defiled. This action of his forefathers kindled the wrath of God and God visited the people of Israel with grave sufferings. Hezekiah atoned the benevolence of God asking Him to temper justice with mercy on the people.

These are some of the seeds Hezekiah sowed in the house of God. He followed the footstep of his father David by exhibiting diligence and devotion in things of God.

We should therefore strive to do something for God before expecting Him to do something for us. Are we sowing in the house of God? Are the seeds adequate? We need to sow adequate seeds if we must attract God’s favour.

Hezekiah’s seeds saved him when God wanted to cut his life short. He reminded God of all the things he did in His sanctuary and in turn God spared him and elongated his life. Hezekiah ruled for 29 solid and eventful years.
So brethren let your seed work for you as you go about your business this week. God bless us all in Jesus name. Amen.
